HIPS Granules

HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) granules are material that are composed by blending polystyrene and rubber. Also known as thermoplastic material, HIPS available in small granular form serve as the primary raw material for producing plastic products. The resultant products are tough and resistant to impact. The grey, black, red and white HIPS granules are melted in the process followed by forming process. Whichever production technique the manufacturer chooses, it is possible to create plastic products in desired shapes. HIPS granules are the material of choice for producing packaging materials, food containers, disposable cups, consumer goods, electronic housings, automotive components, signage, refrigerator liners and construction materials.
